Awesome engine! This might be a rookie question, but how do I output special characters such as apostrophe? I'm trying various things with unicode and other workarounds but nothing is working and I use apostrophes heavily.
I will be sure to share the final project once it is done!
I found a way, but each line had to be encapsulated in quotation marks. This actually works well with the premise of the game anyway, as you are essentially interacting with a disembodied virtual pal for the entire game.
I present Ini the Kappa, a game made entirely in the .ini RPG Engine!
Thank you so much for the fun program, I had a ton of fun using this =D I've created a rainy day project as a type of front end to make .ini files that work with your program. This was so much fun to use.

Thanks for the kind words! I don’t have issues with apostrophes on Windows 11:
Could you share an example sentence that isn’t displayed correctly?

Not at the moment, since it only uses the default Windows dialogs.
I doubt this is possible, but could you add variables/randomness? Thanks!!!!
Latest update added support for randomness, stay tuned for variable support!
This is unironically pretty cool
